To the Board of At Ease:

I’m sending this letter to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude for your generosity towards my family and I. I have been disabled for the past six years and my loss of income has had it’s effects on us financially. We have gotten to the point where any additional expenses have become devastating (emergency home repairs, vehicle repairs and damages not to mention our physical health issues becoming more severe). My wife’s heart condition is worsening and she has recently been hospitalized. I myself have had two recent trips to the ER due to falls I’ve taken because of my condition. You have made it possible for us to pay our mortgage and give us some breathing room for gas and groceries. We are at the point of foreclosure and have exhausted our savings. It is difficult to find part time employment that will accommodate my disability since I have recently lost job that was flexible and within my requirements.

I can’t thank you enough for all you have done and I am indebted to your kindness and spirit of charity.

Yours In Service
